- Can we schedule a tour?
Of course! We’d love to show you everything The Cedar Room on Snow Pond has to offer. Contact us to schedule a private tour at a time that’s convenient for you.
- How far in advance should we book?
Popular spring, summer, and fall dates often reserve well over a year in advance. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
- How do we reserve our wedding date?
To secure your date, a signed rental agreement and required retainer are needed. Once completed, your date is officially reserved.
- How many guests can The Cedar Room accommodate?
The Cedar Room can host celebrations with up to 100 guests. Contact us to discuss your guest count and we’ll help determine the best layout for your event.
- Can we hold both our ceremony and reception at the venue?
Yes! Many couples choose to exchange vows on our beautiful lakeside grounds before celebrating with family and friends inside The Cedar Room, allowing everyone to enjoy the entire day in one stunning location.
- Is there an outdoor ceremony location?
Absolutely. Our waterfront ceremony space overlooking Snow Pond provides a breathtaking natural backdrop for your wedding, complete with beautiful lake views and unforgettable sunsets.
- What is included with our venue rental?
Your rental includes exclusive use of the venue during your reserved time, tables and chairs, access to our beautiful grounds, and the amenities outlined in our Services Included page. We are committed to making your wedding day as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
- Can we choose our own vendors?
Yes. We want your wedding to reflect your unique style. You’re welcome to work with your preferred licensed vendors, or we’re happy to recommend trusted local professionals.
- Do you require licensed and insured bartenders?
Yes. If alcohol is being served, all bar services must be provided by a licensed and insured bar service. This helps ensure a safe, enjoyable celebration while meeting State and local requirements.
- Can we hire food trucks, a mobile pizza oven, or a mobile bar?
Absolutely! We welcome licensed and insured food trucks, mobile pizza vendors, and mobile bar services. They’re a fun way to personalize your wedding day and create a unique guest experience.
- Can we provide our own food or have a potluck?
No. Potluck-style meals are not permitted. All food must be provided by a professional caterer, licensed food vendor, or approved food truck to ensure food safety and a high-quality experience for your guests.
- Is BYOB allowed?
No. Guests may not bring their own alcoholic beverages onto the property. All alcohol served during your event must be handled by your licensed and insured bar service.
- Is there a bridal suite or getting-ready space?
No, we do not have an on-site bridal suite or getting ready space at this time.
- Is there parking available?
Yes. We have two convenient on-site parking lots available for you and your guests. No need for shuttles or golf carts!
- What happens if it rains?
We always have a backup plan. If weather doesn’t cooperate, your ceremony can be moved indoors so your celebration continues comfortably without sacrificing the elegance of your day.
- Are dogs allowed?
Yes! We love including four-legged family members in your special day. Dogs are welcome to participate in your ceremony and wedding photos. For the comfort of your pet, we ask that arrangements be made for them to return home or leave the venue following the ceremony and photos.
- What time do events end?
All wedding celebrations must conclude by 10:00 PM. This allows us to comply with local lake noise ordinances and be respectful of our neighboring property owners while ensuring everyone enjoys a wonderful celebration.
- Do you allow time the day before for rehearsal?
Yes! We set aside 3 hours the day before for you to come add your personal touches and rehearse.
- What is expected for cleanup?
We take care of the venue, so your responsibilities are minimal. At the end of your celebration, your only responsibility is to simply remove your personal belongings. You’re welcome to return by 12:00 PM (noon) the following day for pick up.
If you leave us with your boxes/totes, our team will gather everything together and have it organized and ready for pickup.
Your caterer is responsible for removing all food, beverage, and food-related trash before leaving the property.
- Are there any decorations that aren’t allowed?
To help preserve the beauty of our property and protect the environment around Snow Pond, we do not allow:
- Confetti
- Glitter
- Artificial flower petals
- Fireworks
Sparklers are welcome outdoors for your grand exit, provided they are used safely and responsibly.
- Do you host events other than weddings?
Yes. In addition to weddings, The Cedar Room is available for corporate events, and other special occasions.
